Impressive Storage: Chinese Herbs

Yesterday I went to acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner Johnson Chiu for the first time - and this is what I saw when I walked in the door.

Isn't this gorgeous?

And yes, the acupuncture session was very good, too.

Beautiful! -- I've often thought it would be fun to have an old-fashioned library card catalog to use for storage, too. Of course, if I had one, I haven't got a clue what I'd store in it!

Joan and Cynthia, I'm glad you both were impressed by this, too. It looks even better in person.

Cynthia, you can store all sorts of stuff in an old card catalog. I wrote about that here.

And I never thought about the similarity between this storage piece and a card catalog - but now that you mention it, there I realize there IS a similar aesthetic.

This would be perfect for a craft room ... I'm looking for something like it for my dining room / craft room so I can organize all my stuff and still convert the room to a dining room when we entertain.

Carennedy, see the post I just wrote about apothecary cabinets - inspired by your comment!
